What does a "High Output" mean?

B
Written by Brad Rodgers

When a curing light emits an intensity greater than 4000 mW/cm^2, checkUP provides a high output notification. According to ISO 10650:2018 light output shall not be more than 4000 mW/cm^2.

CheckUP does not indicate curing times for lights emitting more than 4000 mW/cm^2 as a maximum. A light curing unit should also comply with the maximum irradiance indicated by the dental material.
