Welcome to CheckUP! In this article we'll cover all the needed steps to setting up CheckUP for your dental practice.
Step 1 - Install the checkUP App
CheckUP is currently available for iOS and Android.
You can Download the CheckUP app from the Apple App store, or from the Android Google Play store.
Step 2 - Add Your Lights
Tap the "Add a curing light" button or "+" button to enter the name of your curing light.
Enter the name of your curing light and select it from the list.
Place a label on your light and enter the number into the Light ID Number field, then tap "Add Light to Practice". The ID Number must be a number between 1 and 10, and each ID can only be used once.
Step 3 - Add your curing materials
CheckUP will automatically calculate the optimal curing times for your selected curing materials based on your lights most recent test. Below are the steps to add the curing materials you practice uses.
Navigate to "My Materials" using the menu icon in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. Tap the "Add Materials" button or "+" button to enter the name of your material.
Similar to curing lights, enter the name of the curing materials you use at your practice. Enter the name of the material and select it from the filtered results. Tap "Done" when you have added all of your materials.
That's it! You are now ready to start testing your lights! Navigate to "Test" using the menu icon in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen, then tap a light to start testing.
Choose the correct Light Tip and Light Mode before tapping "Begin Test".
Follow the prompts to test your light on the CheckUP device and view your results! Let us know if you have any questions, we can be reached in-app on the Menu screen, through the Support tab.
